This course is designed to help you get started with Pilates and to help you discover the difference Pilates can make to your life. Our 6 week Pilates Foundations Beginners Course is the perfect start to your journey towards a more toned, balanced and stronger body.

This course works to improve your mobility and strengthen your core stability using a variety of Pilates styles. Over the 6 weeks of classes, you will begin learning the fundamental movements of Matwork, Barre and Reformer. 

You will receive personal, hands-on attention to ensure that you have correct form and quality of movement in each exercise. At the end of the six weeks, you will have gained a deeper understanding of Pilates, its benefits, and the confidence and motivation to continue a practice of movement.

This course is for you if you’re a total beginner to Pilates and would like to learn in a supportive small group environment with others who are also new to the practice. 

In this course, you will learn the basics of Pilates. This includes:
– How to safely and correctly do basic Pilates exercises.
– True core activation.
– Individual posture and alignment.
– The correct breathing technique to be able to use your core muscles effectively for Pilates exercises.
– How to use small pieces of equipment to make your workouts fun.

Each class will be low impact on your joints but will have a strong impact on how you feel inside and out as you feel your posture improve, your movements becoming easier and your mind clearer.

This course runs over a 6week period during selected months of the year and is limited to a maximum of 5 clients per intake. Please contact me to register your interest in the next Pilates Foundations course.
